Metallic blue HM PK
(Donny Adriaens, Belgium)

The Sire is a royal blue HM PK with a nice overall balance. He has a nice broad dorsal, parallel anal and sharp edged caudal fin. The Dame is metallic blue HM PK bred by my friend Donny Adriaens from Belgium. Her caudal shows a great shape. The pedigree of both fish does show some overlap.
With this cross I hope to fix the strong bodies, broad dorsals and quality finnage in my iridescent HM PK line. The offspring (F1) will be metallic blue HM PKs which a chance of melano blacks popping up.

The Dame is also mother of BT010111A.

13/12/10: The pair spawned!
14/12/10: The fry has hatched!
16/12/10: Fry in the free-swimming stage. The Sire was removed. The fry is already feeding on newly hatched BBS.
07/02/10: The fry is now 8 weeks old.

07/03/10: The fry is now 12 weeks old and showing nice metallic blue colors.

18/03/11: The fry is now 14 weeks old and developing nicely. The first males start to flare regularly.

25/03/11: Made a picture of a promising young male, now 15 weeks old.
