The Sire is a Nemo/Galaxy HMPK with a nice bodyshape and pretty good balance. The unpaired fins have a decent shape (big D-shaped caudal, trapezoid shaped anal and the dorsal with the front rays directed forward). Points of attention here are the lack of volume in the dorsal, the slope of the anal vin and the multiple tips in the ventrals. The Dame is Nemo/Galaxy HMPK with a very nice colorcontrast & distribution. She has a good bodyshape with balanced finnage.
With this cross I hope to fix the strong bodies, the smooth topline and work towards a nemo/galaxy line with a better form & finnage. The offspring (F2) most likely will start of as dark- and lightbodied blue/red with a good chance of marbling. Hopefully some already will develop some koi patterns along the way.

14/02/21: The pair spawned.
15/02/21: The fry hatched, looks like a small spawn.
17/02/21: The fry (10-15) entered the free-swimming stage and the Sire was removed.
06/06/21: The fry initially started as blue/red or blue/yellow and had a slow start. Now they are catching up nicely and the majority of the fry have already started to do what marbles do best.....change colors!
