The Sire is steel blue HMPK which with a nice D-shaped caudal fin and broad-based dorsal (ideally the mouth-to-dorsal topline could be a bit smoother). The Dame is balanced royal blue HMPK which was bred by my friend Matthias Polzin from Germany.
With this outcross I hope to fix the strong bodies, smooth topline and balanced finnage. The offspring (F1) likely will be (metallic) steel blue and royal blue fish with a chance of marble and red wash to pop up.

15/09/18: The pair spawned.
16/09/18: The fry hatched, seems like a small spawn of ~10 fry.
18/09/18: The fry entered the free-swimming stage. Removed the male.

22/09/18: The fry is now 6 days old and feeding well on vinegar eels and BBS.

30/09/18: 2 weeks old.

08/03/19: Promising steel blue HMPK male of 25 weeks of age.

13/05/19: Two HMPK brothers from this spawn were send to the 11th Betta Freaks Show in Kalkar - Germany. Both won a prize!
- 1st M2 Asymmetrical HMPK Male - Unicolor Darkbody.
- 3rd M2 Asymmetrical HMPK Male - Unicolor Darkbody.
