The Sire is a non-metallic steel blue HM PK with a nice strong body, D-shaped caudal and broad full dorsal. The anal has a nice shape and the ventrals have a good full volume. The Dame is a non-metallic royal blue mask HM PK with a very good bodyshape.
The offspring (F1) will be HM PK. The color of the fry will be either royal blue or steel blue (mask) with a chance of blacks (melano and/or black lace) popping up. Considering the background of both fish, there is a chance some fish will be marbles.

The Sire is also father of BT230410

21/03/10: The pair spawned!
22/03/10: The fry hatched.
23/03/10: Fry in the free-swimming stage. Seems like a medium spawn. The Sire was removed.
02/04/10: The fry is now 1.5 weeks old and feeding well on artemia/BBS. There are about ~30 fry.
03/04/10: Managed to make a pictrure of two 2 week old fry:

01/05/10: The fry is now 6 weeks old and have been moved to a bigger grow-out tanks. They are feeding well on chopped tubifex, red mosquito larvae and BBS/artemia. The colors are royal blue and steel blue based. I have already spotted several fry with nice broad dorsals.

13/05/10: The fry was divided over 2 grow-out tanks.
03/06/10: The fry is now 10 weeks old and developing nicely. The first dominant males are now popping up in both grow-outs.

13/06/10: The fry is now 12 weeks old and I have jarred the first males. Here some pictures:

28/07/10: The fry of this spawn is now 17 weeks old and I have jarred several very promising fish:

11/09/10: Three HMPK of this spawn were send to the Holland Betta Show 2010, the Netherlands. All three won the following prizes in their showclass:

4th Halfmoon plakat male class - Unicolor darkbody
5th Halfmoon plakat male class - AOC
