The Sire is darkbody yellow VT with an intense yellow color, minimal iridescence and nicely shaped finnage (although the dorsal is slightly curled). The Dame is a darkbody yellow, smooth topline and balanced finnage. She is a full sibling to the male.
With this cross I hope to fix the intense color with minimal iridescence as well as the strong bodies, smooth topline and balanced finnage. The offspring (F3) will be VT. The offspring (F1) likely will be dark- and lightbody yellow.

The Dame is also mother of BT150918D.

30/08/18: The pair spawned.
31/08/18: The fry hatched, seems like a small spawn of ~10 fry.
02/09/18: The fry entered the free-swimming stage. Removed the male.
05/09/18: The fry is feeding well on vinegar eels and BBS.
16/09/18: 2,5 week old darkbody yellow VT fry.

27/09/18: 4 week old fry.

08/11/18: 10 week old yellow VT fry.

09/12/18: Jarred two young males, there are 4 females left in the grow-out.

17/03/19: No fish from this spawn were kept to work further with.
